L'Artisan Parfumeur is the original 'conoisseur' fragrance house, founded in Paris in 1976 by master perfumer, Jean-François Laporte. Monsieur Laporte was a talented perfumer-chemist with a passion for the scents of nature. From his laboratory in L'Artisan Parfumeur's first boutique on Rue de Grenelle, he dreamed up the the first of his iconic fragrances inspired by nature, his childhood memories, favourite raw materials, and the traditions of perfumery.
L'Artisan Parfumeur's classic collection of fragrances remain unchanged throughout its 40 year history. Made with passion and artisanal finesse to symbolise a different olfactory journey; each fragrance is beautifully packaged in an elegant smoky glass bottled finished with the brand's signature elblem.

Key Notes Patchouli, pine needles & star anise
A wonderfully aromatic fragrance, Fou d'Absinthe combines top notes of Absinthe, angelica flower, and blackcurrant buds with heart notes of clove, ginger, nutmeg, star anise, patchouli, and pepper. Base notes of pine needles, cistus labdanum (rockrose) and fir balsam bring a hint of herbacious freshness to the perfume.
