Maison Trudon was established in 1643, when Claude Trudon began his journey as the owner of a boutique on Rue Saint Honore as a grocer and a candler, Cire Trudon is one of the most famous wax producing factories in France. As the provider of Louis XIV’s French royal court, as well as the most glorious cathedrals and churches throughout France, the history and know-how is unsurpassed. In 1811 when Napoleon I was crowned Emperor of France the Trudon candles adorned the Imperial Court. In 2007 , the company took the name Cire Trudon and became a specialist in manufacturing perfumed candles.
